Mr. Nehemiah Gibson1

What One of the Roundest of Boston Democrats Thinks of the Political Outlook.

Ex-Alderman Nehemiah Gibson of this city stated that he had been out of politics for some time past, but he favored Tilden as he thought he was fairly elected before. His choice, however, would be Boymonr, as he thought he would be the best man and could carry New York and Indiana, and those were the essential states in which the party must succeed. Garfield he had not yet studied enough as to his character, as he had only seen one side of the question, and that was mostly favorable to him; but if he was concerned in the Credit Mobilier frauds he is not a fit man to place in the president's  chair. There are enough scoundrels outside without having congressmen accepting bribes. He though favorably of Thurman and that he would make an able man to fill the position of president.
