Loretta "Carrie" Varney was born in Tamworth NH on 11 April 1853 - the
daughter of Moses C. and Lorretta S. Varney. She married Charles Earl Gibson of East Boston
on the 9th of June 1874 in
Boston, Massachusetts. Carrie and Charles lived at 40 Haynes Street in
East Boston from at least 1882 to 1885.
They had one child:
(1) Nehemiah Charles Gibson was born in 19 January 1878.
She and Charles separated around 1885/1886; Carrie lived at 40
Haynes Street in East Boston until about 1890 when she moved back to her
ancestral home in Tamworth, New Hampshire and lived their
until her death on the 5th of September 1946 at the age of 93.
