The Lucy H. Gibson (formerly the U.S.S.
Kineo)
The Schooner Lucy H. Gibson was originally built in
Portland Maine and was commissioned in February of 1862. She was
decommissioned in 1865 and then sold to Nehemiah Gibson of East Boston
in October of 1866. Her Captain in 1869 was Commisky and
owner was N. Gibson. She was 507 tons and was listed in either the
Record of American and Foreign Shipping or American Lloyd's Register
of American and Foreign Shipping until 1871.1, 2
